ABP’s Port of Ipswich was the setting for the launch of the 2016 Great East Swim.
The event, which takes place at Alton Water Reservoir, sees more than 2,000 people take the plunge.
ABP worked with organisers to launch the swim at the Ipswich waterfront, in front of the port office at Old Custom House.
Ipswich Port Manager Alastair MacFarlane said: “We were delighted to let the organisers of the Great East Swim use the waterfront as a backdrop for their launch.
“This is a fantastic event which sees the local community come together to have a bit competitive fun. Good luck to all the competitors.”
The Great East Swim will take place on Saturday 18 June. More details about the event can be found at: http://www.greatrun.org/great-swim/great-east-swim
